That is so annoying!

You know what really annoys me?  When someone who never watched the NFL just decides that their favorite team happens to be my favorite team.  Uh, hello! You can’t just do that.  First of all, you have to actually watch them play and know at least three players and why you like them; in my opinion anyways.  Then, what even makes it more annoying, is when their “favorite team” is playing in the super bowl a year later, they say “I don’t want them to win.  I’m not going for them.”  What the HECK!!!!!!! You told me that they were your favorite team! Make up your freakin’ mind.  Who does that?  I won’t say.
Anyways, another thing that annoys me is when people, mainly teenagers, say oh we’re poor.  We don’t have that kind of money.  Then why do you have expensive name brand clothes, cell phones, iPods, cars, and so much more? We don’t appreciate what we have; if we only knew that even the poorest of us were rich compared to the rest of the world. If I could, I would have all people who aren’t happy for what they have to go to a foreign country. I’m not talking about the rich parts. We need to go out and really see what it’s like to be poor. I’ve gone to Mexico where they live in; I wouldn’t even call them houses. They live in pieces of whatever they can find: Pieces of wood, metal, anything that will shelter them. The little kids run around the dirt streets, where their sewage runs because they don’t have a sewage system, in their bare feet. Most of the people wear the same clothes because that’s the only pair that they have; yet they are so happy and thankful for what they do have. They are always running around playing soccer or wrestling around.  They love to give even though they have so little.
When I went to Panama, their homes were straw huts. They had no walls anywhere. Everything is wide open. Most of the kids had no shirts or shoes. They had no cars in their small village. The food they had was just running around their village; chickens. There were a lot of chickens. Or they just pick the fruit right off the trees.  They don’t really have yards, just one big open space in the jungle with a hut there and a hut here. The way they cut their grass is a man will take his machete and go hack at the grass until its short enough. They were so happy to have us there. They had no idea who we were when we showed up, but they are so open and wanting to play and talk to us. They have no idea about anything beyond their village. But they are also so happy. Maybe they wonder about a lot of things, but they are not depressed or complaining.
That’s what we need to do; appreciate what we have and realize that we have it very good. So yes, when I see how these people live and here my classmates complain about what they do not have, I get a little defensive, even if it’s not me who’s living in poverty.

Things i want to do before i die

There are many many things to do in this world, yet I don’t want to do everything everybody else wants to do before they die. I’m my own person and have quite a lot of different things that probably aren’t on most people’s “to do list”.  So here it goes.  I will first say what it is then either describe or give a reason why I want to do that.  The things I want to do before I die are simply these: Get a bazillion balloons and float off into the sky.  It would be a lot like the movie “Up” just without the house. It would be just me tied to the balloons and maybe a cooler chest filled with food.  Another thing I want to do before I die is to go sky diving.  I am very scared of heights, but I’ve also always wanted to fly!  Since it’s impossible to fly, sky diving is the closest thing. I think I would be extremely terrified at first but after a few seconds, I would love it! The next thing is to ride on a schooner.  If whoever is reading this and you don’t know what that is, well, look it up.  I’m just kidding.  It’s one of those big ships like the ones from “Pirates of the Caribbean.”  Those things are so amazing and it would be such an adventure to go out to sea in one of those.  I’ve only been on a mini ship (not a row boat) once and I loved it so much!  So I can only imagine what it would be like to ride on one of these huge beautiful ships!  I would dance on the deck and climb up all the way into the “birds nest” so I could see far far away.  I would go to the steering wheel and steer the ship, but only for a while even thought there is so much sea. Gosh, that sounds amazing.  Moving on, I would also want to ride in a carriage pulled by horses.  I guess I could go to England and do that but, it sounds kind of expensive.  I know!  Maybe I will have one at my wedding and me and my husband can ride away in it.  That sounds like a fantastic idea!  I also want to go to Chicago.  I love big cities and yes, I only live three hours away from one, but I’ve been there a lot and it’s nothing like Chicago.  At least. . .I don’t think so, from the pictures and all.  I’ll find out one of these days.  I really want to go into space.  I love space and the stars.  It would be a dream come true if I could go into space for at least five days; maybe a week.  One reason I want to go is so I can float and swim through the air!  Anyways, I also would like to live in a castle with, not slaves, but servants.  Yes, people who clean and cook for me.  Castles are so gorgeous!  I want to own at least one new corvette before I die.  It would be my car to drive around the city and show off to everyone.  Then, they would wish they had one too.  Before I die, I would really love to speak Spanish fluently.  This is also one of my goals.  I’m almost there.  Ok not really, but I do know more than most people my age who have taken classes.  It’s kind of funny because half of my family speaks it, but I never see them.  The next thing I want to do is ride in a hot air balloon.  I’ve only seen one and been really close to one.  I’ve seen them being aired up which is pretty awesome.  I’m almost done, so hang in there.  I’ve been to many concerts but never have jumped onto the crowd.  I’ve always wanted to do that and might get the chance one day.  Although, I’m sure there’s a lot of touching.  I could definitely do without that; creepy.  Another thing I would want to do is to be in the desert and see a mirage!  Those just blow my mind.  I don’t know how they come to be, but it’s quite amazing.  Unless it was a scary mirage, then no thank you.  These last two things are things on my list, but things I have accomplished.  One, I’ve always wanted to drive through a roundabout.  I know you’re thinking, a roundabout? We have those everywhere.  Not those stupid little ones.  I’m talking about the really big ones with like a giant statue or something in the center.  I went around one of those in Costa Rica.  The second thing that I’ve accomplished was going into the jungle, or rain forest.  They are the same thing to me though.  The first time I went into one was when I was twelve.  It was in Costa Rica.  The second time was when I lived in the Darien Jungle in Panama for a week.  That was so much fun but kind of scary.  So out of twelve of those things I want to do, I’ve only done two.  That’s a start right?  I think so.
